All Heavens: Achieving Great Supernatural Powers from the Journey to the West - Chapter 438
c-1 Final words
At the end of this book, it is another time of reflection and self-summary.
I am able to write until now, thanks to the support of readers.
By the end of the book, everything was covered in feathers. This is because the author has too little writing experience, too many writing shortcomings, and insufficient control over the plot.
When writing this book, I avoided some of the mistakes I realized in the previous book, but then I discovered more of my own mistakes and shortcomings.
Originally, the author had a very rough outline, but his misjudgment of the data led to the setting being changed several times midway, and he finally succeeded in writing a book again.
Then there are some poisonous points, such as Tang San at the beginning, which are also the author’s problems. In the early stage, the idea of conforming to the original work of Journey to the West and following the path of great supernatural powers such as Guanyin, Bodhi, and Tathagata also became poisonous for some reasons. This is the author’s big fault.
Three books in half a year, which can be regarded as the first introduction and exposure to the writing career. I know some of the readers’ tastes, and I also know many of my own shortcomings.
I read relatively few books, and the material library in my brain is not sufficient. In short, I sometimes get stupid and write whatever comes to my mind. It is difficult to restrain my mind. I often get lost because of some inexplicable things. Take off, causing problems in writing.
The author also has many shortcomings, so I won’t list them all here.
The author will try his best to correct these shortcomings and hopes that readers will continue to support it.
Thanks again to every reader who watched.

The following is the speech of Ludos, my friend who polished and corrected bad sentences and typos for me:
I am the second author of this book, Ludos the Exile. I would like to thank all readers very much for watching. You have given us the motivation to create.
Yimeng Jinhuang is the main author of this book, and I was responsible for polishing, adding details, checking for omissions, and sorting out the plot during the creative process.
My first collaboration with Yimeng Jinhuang was purely by chance. I joined him in the middle of his last work. At that time, I basically just helped him correct typos and incorrect sentences, and did not participate deeply in the creative process.
But for this work, I participated in the creation from beginning to end and helped conceive a lot of things. This cooperation allowed both Yimeng Jinhuang and I to gain valuable experience and lessons.
The biggest problem with this book is that it is too fast-paced, although it is much slower than the previous two.
The most fundamental reason for the improper pacing of this book is that the group of friends we assigned to the protagonist at the beginning were too strong.
Fang Han, Luo Feng, Ye Fan…these people are all powerful protagonists whose strength levels soar like a rocket, and our protagonist Xu Xuanzhi has to keep up with them in the plot, so his strength rises all at once. He became a man of strength and status. And this is very detrimental to the development and conclusion of the plot.
In fact, astronomical writers have always had two contradictory tendencies. On the one hand, I want to write about the protagonist using the resources and systems of multiple worlds to achieve rapid upgrades; on the other hand, I want to arrange different plots in multiple worlds to make the book rich and substantial.
You can’t have both. If the protagonist upgrades too quickly, he will soon enter the powerful class, and the author will have difficulty arranging conflicts and plot climaxes for him in various worlds. If the protagonist has rich and diverse plot experiences in various worlds, it can easily become a force to suppress the realm, or even subvert the protagonist’s intelligence without knowing it.
Our book just made the mistake of patronizing upgrades. Because in the early stage, we suppressed the realm in order to develop the plot, so after realizing this problem, we quickly adjusted the rhythm to allow the protagonist to level up quickly. But this leads to the rapid expansion of the protagonist group’s combat power, making it difficult to arrange plot conflicts. The result is that the book has layers upon layers of combat power in the middle and later stages, but the plot is empty and lacks realism.
I have many issues with Yimeng Jinhuang as a creator.
I am too pedantic and rigid. I have to strictly follow the plan in everything I do and have no spirit of flexibility. Moreover, I am too impatient and have no empathy or imagination. I am only full of aggression and cannot arrange plot conflicts at all. In other words, if I were to write a book by myself, I would only write about murder, arson, and vitriol.
But Yimeng Jinhuang is too lazy and has no plan for anything he does. He lacks cultural literacy, has a poor memory, and is a waste of names. He feels too good about himself, is impatient, and thinks of things as they come up.
These are issues we need to pay attention to.
He could imagine a unique world, and I could add to that world and correct its mistakes.
Our next book will be an original work, with an independent world view, and there will be no such exaggerated box-stacking behavior. Hope readers like it.
Thanks again to all readers for watching. (End of chapter)
