From the prototype, immortal - Chapter 1340
“Well, it seems I have to use more strength.”
Tony Stark sneered. His Mark 1 suit was not comparable to flesh and blood.
Every inch of the steel armor embodies the most advanced technology and material science. The composite structure of bulletproof steel, bulletproof iron and copper, coupled with a lightweight and tough titanium alloy skeleton, constitutes an indestructible defense barrier.
Even when facing an opponent with extraordinary physical strength, Tony is confident that he can easily deal with it.
He activated the palm cannon again. This time, he increased the power output. A dazzling beam of light shot out from the palm of his hand and hit the white hockey mask man as accurately as a laser cutter.
Where the beam passed, the air seemed to be torn apart, making a sharp whistling sound.
The man was like being hit by a high-speed car. The whole person hit the wall hard, making a dull impact.
The plaster and paint on the wall splashed under the huge impact force, leaving a shocking crack.
Tony smiled triumphantly. He witnessed the other party’s arms and feet twisted at an angle that ordinary people could not bear at all. The miserable state of the fracture was clear at a glance.
“Oh, this must be painful, but you asked for it.”
He was amazed, as if he was admiring his own masterpiece.
However, just as Ethan was about to step forward to catch this enemy who seemed to have lost his fighting power, a shocking scene happened.
The man in the white hockey mask actually struggled to stand up. The twisted parts of his hands and feet seemed to be forcibly bent back to their original positions by an invisible force, as if time had flowed backwards.
This scene shocked Tony and Ethan. They had never seen such a strange phenomenon.
“What the hell is this?”
Tony muttered to himself, his eyes full of confusion and vigilance. He began to realize that this enemy was no ordinary opponent. He possessed some extraordinary abilities.
The man in the hockey mask strode towards Tony, and every step seemed to step on Tony’s heartstrings, making him feel an inexplicable pressure.
He raised the machete and chopped at Tony without hesitation. Tony quickly raised his arm and blocked the blow with the steel armor of Mark 1.
The machete collided with the armor, and there was a loud bang of metal and sparks.
Tony did not give his opponent a chance to breathe. He punched the man in the abdomen with his backhand. The punch was extremely fast and powerful, and it penetrated the opponent’s body almost instantly.
However, when Tony pulled out his arm, he felt nauseous and uncomfortable.
He saw that the wound left by his fist was healing at a speed visible to the naked eye, as if the opponent’s body had some kind of magical self-healing ability.
“Damn it!” Tony cursed in a low voice. He couldn’t accept this fact.
However, what shocked him even more was that the hockey mask man actually raised the machete again, ignoring the wounds on his body, and chopped at Tony again.
This time, Ethan was so scared that his face turned pale. He never thought that there would be such a weird guy who didn’t fall down after suffering so many fatal injuries.
Tony grabbed the blade of the machete, and the metal made a harsh twisting sound under the strong grip of his Mark 1 mechanical gloves.
Mark 1’s fingers exerted force, and the built-in micro servo motor responded quickly, accurately transmitting the force to each fingertip.
With a crisp metal shattering sound, the already chipped machete was easily crushed into pieces under Tony’s grip, scattered on the ground, flashing cold light.
However, the joy of victory did not stay on Tony’s face for too long. When he turned his head to look at the enemy who had just been punched by him, astonishment instantly occupied his face.
The enemy’s abdominal wound was healing rapidly at a speed visible to the naked eye, and the muscle fibers seemed to be reorganized in an instant. The wound gradually shrank until it disappeared completely, leaving only a faint scar.
“Immortal??”
Tony shouted in astonishment, with unconcealable disbelief and horror in his voice.
His brain was working rapidly, trying to explain this seemingly supernatural phenomenon from a scientific perspective.
Self-healing does exist, but such an extreme and rapid recovery ability is far beyond the scope of normal physiology.
He began to think that self-healing requires energy, especially this almost miraculous recovery speed, the energy and protein consumed must be amazing.
Protein is the basic substance that makes up cells, and energy is the driving force that drives these cells to repair and regenerate.
If this man really has the ability to be immortal, then he must have some special energy source or metabolic mechanism to support this amazing recovery speed.
Tony quickly adjusted the tactical system of Mark 1 and decided to use this to deal with this seemingly invincible enemy.
He conducted a preliminary scan of the enemy’s body through the built-in sensors and analysis system, trying to find clues to its energy source.
However, the scan results made him even more confused-there was no abnormal energy source or metabolic process in the enemy’s body, everything seemed so normal, but so abnormal.
Tony did not give up, he believed that science could always find the answer.
He decided to adopt a more direct tactic-consumer the opponent’s energy reserves through continuous attacks.
Any form of energy output requires corresponding energy input to maintain it. Even the opponent’s seemingly magical recovery ability must have its physical limit.
Tony speculated that as long as he could continuously exert pressure on the opponent, he would always find a critical point where his recovery mechanism could not keep up with the speed of consumption, thus exhausting his energy reserves.
So Tony launched another fierce attack.
He used Mark 1 to fight fiercely with the hockey mask man in a narrow passage. Every swing of Mark 1’s mechanical arm was accompanied by powerful kinetic energy, accurately hitting the enemy’s vital parts.
Each of Tony’s attacks was carefully calculated, striving to open a gap in the opponent’s energy reserves.
However, reality is always much more complicated than theory.
Although Tony’s attacks were accurate and efficient, the opponent – the mysterious enemy wearing a hockey mask, seemed to have an energy recovery ability beyond the norm.
No matter how hard Tony tried, the opponent could always recover in a very short time, as if he had an inexhaustible source of energy hidden in his body.
Tony noticed that the opponent’s recovery speed seemed to be proportional to the frequency and intensity of his attacks. This phenomenon reminded him of some form of energy feedback mechanism, that is, the enemy’s body might be absorbing and converting Tony’s attack energy to repair itself.
