Hogwarts: I can inherit the legacy of the dead - Chapter 242
Meka Anders was at a loss for words about this last wish.
He had never expected that after repeatedly opposing Voldemort and repeatedly destroying Voldemort’s resurrection plan, he would now have to find ways to become one of Voldemort’s Death Eaters.
Based on his understanding of Voldemort, Voldemort would never be magnanimous enough to forgive him for these actions, because life and death are great hatreds for anyone, let alone a person like Voldemort who pursues immortality.
The full content of this last wish is:
“Become a member of the Death Eaters as ‘Valoda Rowle’, and pass this name to Voldemort’s ears and get Voldemort’s approval.”
There are two difficulties here.
To become a Death Eater, Voldemort needs to plant the ‘Death Eater Mark’. Once this mark is planted, it means that one’s own secrets and life are handed over to Voldemort.
This brings up the first difficulty. Maika must avoid exposing his true identity without being planted with the “Mark of the Death Eaters”, gain the trust of the Death Eaters members, and become one of them.
The second difficulty is to gain Voldemort’s recognition.
For a big man like Voldemort, it is not easy to gain his recognition.
“The legacy is a magical essence, which is said to be ‘extremely precious’.”
“No further interpretation has been made, and I don’t know what it is…”
Maika thought and looked at the unconscious and mumbling owner of the relic in front of him, a middle-aged wizard in a black western robe who looked polite.
He sighed:
“I hope the reward you give is worth my risk.”
Of course, this commission will not start until the end of the semester in a few days.
…
The thrilling night ended.
In the early morning, Maika woke up and saw Harry and Ron on the bed next to him, with white bandages tied on several parts of their bodies, sleeping soundly, snoring.
He smiled and was about to get up from the bed to wash up when he suddenly heard Bixia’s voice:
“You kid, haven’t you dealt with the leopard hidden in the painting?”
“This painting is enchanted, but it’s not indestructible.”
“If it continues to be destroyed, the painting will be really ruined, and I will be homeless again.”
Meka was startled, and then he remembered that Boguna had sent him a lot of things, and there was still a leopard in the painting space that had not been dealt with.
But it didn’t seem convenient to deal with it at this time.
Harry and Ron were both in the dormitory. If any accident happened and the noise woke them up, it would be difficult to explain the origin of the painting and the various secrets about him.
Meka glanced at Harry and Ron next to him and said, “Let’s wait until night, it’s not convenient now.”
“Are you worried that the sound will come out of the painting?” Bixia said, “Just do it, I guarantee that no sound from you and the leopard will be heard.”
Meka said, “Oh,” “Are you sure?”
“Of course.” Bixia’s lazy voice came from the painting, “That’s not difficult, it’s just a silent spell.”
Meka thought for a while and said, “Okay.”
He took out the portrait of Bixia from his arms and saw that Bixia was staring with dark circles under her eyes and yawning in the painting.
Bixia urged, “Hurry up, the leopard is so hungry, it’s like crazy now, it’s so noisy, it’s so worrying, I haven’t slept all night.”
“You, a painting spirit, also need to rest?” Meka leaned the portrait between the bed and the table, just in time to avoid being seen.
Bixia sighed: “I can’t help it. The person who created this spell didn’t consider this.”
“Hurry up.” He urged again.
“Got it.”
Meka put his hand on the portrait, and the next moment the world spun around, and the whole person fell into a dark room.
Click, he pushed the door open with ease, walked along the dim corridor, and walked towards the room where the sound came from in the distance.
“I don’t know if this leopard can give me some surprises?”
“It would be best if it could leave something with a last wish like the basilisk…”
The heavy wooden door creaked and roared from time to time.
Meka took out the wand from his arms, and in order to prevent poisoning, he carefully put on a mask.
He closed his eyes slightly, and the magic and blood in his body rolled and roared at the same time. When he opened his eyes again, his eyes immediately turned into cold yellow-green snake pupils.
“It seems that you heard my voice? There is no movement inside.” Meka listened with his ears tilted.
“But it doesn’t matter.”
“Come on, Nangdu Leopard, don’t let me down.”
Meka pushed open the door and immediately retreated.
A leopard covered with ferocious long thorns suddenly burst out with the terrifying power of a top hunter. The ground under its feet suddenly cracked and it pounced in front of Meka at a speed that ordinary people could hardly react.
“Roar~~!”
Its eyes were full of bloodshot, adding a bit of oppression and madness.
It opened its bloody mouth and bit Meka in the face with a bit of fishy smell.
It was done in one go, fast enough to make the prey fall in a pool of blood before it could react.
But faster than it was the most deadly poison gas in its body, which was already sprayed in front of Meka with its breath.
And faster than its poison gas was the eyes of people.
Meka’s pair of snake eyes burst out with a burst of blood light, and he only looked at the Nangdu Leopard. Click, the Nangdu Leopard froze and fell in mid-air.
As soon as it landed on the ground, it made a sound of stone collision. Looking again, the Nangdu leopard with its ferocious thorns all over its body had turned into a lifelike stone sculpture.
But the stone sculpture was still moving. The vitality of a creature like a Nangdu leopard was far beyond that of a human, even when facing the eyes of a basilisk.
Maika did not kill it immediately, but waited for the gray on its body to gradually fade away and the petrification effect to slowly disappear.
When it was about to break free, Maika put his magic wand against its forehead and chanted:
“Avada Kedavra.”
A deadly green light burst out in the darkness.
The Nangdu leopard screamed, but it was not dead yet.
Maika did not find it strange, because even when facing a troll, the effect of the spell was discounted, not to mention this magical animal that was much more terrifying than a troll.
After several killing spells in a row, the Nangdu leopard finally stopped moving.
But this was enough to show how terrible the vitality of this magical animal, which was rated as the most dangerous, was.
Maika took out the Gryffindor sword, put on white gloves, and opened the mouth of the Nangdu leopard.
Just like the last time he took out the snake fang of the basilisk, he took out a white and ferocious fang of the Nangdu leopard.
He held the fang in his hand, closed his eyes and felt it, then sighed:
“It seems that this Nangdu leopard is not smart enough, or has no obsession, so it can’t be considered a relic.”
“What a pity.”
“What a pity?” Bixia’s voice suddenly came.
Maika looked back, and Bixia’s short figure was like a glowing phantom, standing next to him, scratching his ears.
“Of course it’s a pity for such a magical animal.” Meka said, “I originally thought its body could be used for something.”
“That’s right, this thing only has some research value in its blood and venom, but these two things are easy to rot and can’t be preserved for a long time…” Bixia looked at the dead leopard on the ground, then looked up at Meka, and suddenly froze:
“Your eyes…”
Meka blinked his yellow-green snake pupils: “What’s wrong?”
Bixia had already climbed on him, as light as a feather, and just looked around and touched around.
His eyes gradually lit up, as if he was staring at a big treasure:
“Good fellow, you still have the blood of a basilisk in your body?”
“I have lived for more than a hundred years, and this is the first time I have seen a wizard with the blood of a basilisk growing in his body…”
“Unheard of, unheard of…”
Meka took out a clean cloth bag and was putting away the body of the Nangdu leopard. He said unhappily:
“Have you finished reading it? If you have finished reading it, then drop it from my head.”
Bisia jumped down, stopped him, and said:
“Don’t clean it up.”
Meka did not stop: “Why not clean it up? This thing stinks here, can you bear it? ?”
“Of course I can’t stand it…” Bissia sighed: “Oh, don’t interrupt me. The corpse of this serpent is useless to wizards, but it is useful to freaks like you.”
Meka stopped what he was doing, looked at him and asked: “What do you mean?”
Bissia looked up and said excitedly:
“Haven’t you heard that basilisks don’t eat unless they are useless?”
“This magical animal can eat to nourish its blood and accelerate its growth.”
“Although the blood of the serpent is a bit toxic, it is the best tonic when combined with the drop of life-giving potion in your bag.”
Potion with a strong breath of life? Meka was startled. He took out a bottle from his arms, which contained a drop of life-extending potion emitting colorful light.
He asked: “Is this the potion you are talking about?”
“Yes.” Bissia nodded. Meka looked at the leopard on the ground again: “Are you sure that the blood of this thing will not poison me to death?”
“How is it possible?” Bixia sneered:
“The basilisk itself is extremely poisonous, how could it be poisoned by other things?”
“At most, I feel uncomfortable in my stomach and intestines, and I have a minor illness.”
“But with the potion in your hand, everything will be fine…”
Meka asked again: “Can I trust you?”
“Believe it or not.” Bixia rolled her eyes.
Meka thought for a long time, considering that Professor Snape still had several bottles of special antidote potions.
He decided to give it a try and looked at Bixia: “How to take it? Drink it all at once?”
“Put the blood of the leopard in this potion, shake it and drink it.” Bixia said, “But it has to be taken three times. The amount is too much, I’m afraid you can’t bear it.”
“I understand.” Meka nodded.
He began to bleed the leopard and put it directly into the bottle of life extension potion, filling the 200 ml bottle.
The seven-colored solution mixed with the deep red blood and turned into a light blue solution.
Meka put it in front of his nose and smelled it. The solution still smelled like blood.
He took it in his hand and looked at it again. He gritted his teeth, closed his eyes and drank one-third of it in one gulp.
The smell of rust exploded in his mouth, as if a boiling line of fire passed through his throat and went straight into his stomach.
It was as if a pot suddenly exploded in his body, and a stream of heat burst out from his stomach and ran around in his body.
Meka suddenly screamed, his skin was burning, and then he felt as painful as being skinned.
Not long after, a snake scale drilled out of Meka’s right face.
Bixia was stunned and murmured:
“It’s really good…”
…
PS: It didn’t come out. It’s my problem.
Yesterday I thought about the rest of the story, but today I found that the logic was not right no matter how I wrote it. My brain seemed to be blocked, so I wrote from 6pm to nearly 2am.
I took an extra day off.
I didn’t want to write this chapter too long, but I ended up writing 3,300 words.
There is another chapter today (1.12).
