Hogwarts: Oops, I'm Voldemort - Chapter 195
c195 Grindelwald’s Prophecy
Not only Ginny, Hermione and her two pendants also saw Cyrus.
The four of them opened their mouths wide, with astonishment written all over their faces. In contrast, Grindelwald and Durmstrang’s ghost ship, which appeared first, became the background board.
The dragons lowered their arrogant heads and surrendered to their king.
Cyrus jumped down from the carriage, and the flames enveloped him like a huge, blooming flower.
Behind him, Bella, who was wearing a dress, followed closely, and she raised her head proudly, like a black swan. And on Cyrus’ left hand side, a large python with green scales followed him like a shadow – it was Nagini.
Nagini swam in the flames, and the flames seemed to not hurt her skin. Her round eyes swept among the students, as if revealing a nostalgic look, and her slender nose, like a crack, opened and quickly closed, quietly coiled around Cyrus’ feet.
Behind them, ten warrior candidates jumped out of the carriage one after another. They all walked in the fire, held their breath with their heads up, and endured the gazes of the Hogwarts students.
Ginny wanted to rush out of the crowd and run to Cyrus, but Hermione reached out and grabbed her.
“You are crazy, Professor McGonagall will kill us!” Hermione, who always abides by the rules, naturally would not let Ginny break the rules in front of her. She immediately comforted her, “Wait a minute, the competition will last for a school year, and we have plenty of time afterwards.”
So Ginny settled down.
However, Harry and Ron were the opposite of Ginny. After seeing Cyrus, they also showed happy and enthusiastic smiles, but soon, their eyes were attracted by another person.
– Draco Malfoy.
The showy ferret noticed the gazes of Harry and Ron, and immediately raised his chin without concealment, and the corners of his mouth were raised to one side, almost grinning to the roots of his ears.
“He’s such a jerk!” Ron retched as if he had seen something disgusting, and then complained to Harry, “I was happy that I wouldn’t see him again in the future. I really don’t understand why Cyrus brought him to the competition?”
Draco Malfoy is also worthy of being a warrior in the semi-finals?
Although Ron’s thoughts were malicious, in fact, Draco did not meet the standards of a warrior. Cyrus took Draco with him on the one hand to let him go back to Hogwarts to see, and on the other hand to cultivate Draco’s alchemy.
Draco Malfoy is very accomplished in alchemy. During school, he can independently repair advanced alchemy products such as the Vanishing Cabinet. In Cyrus’s view, he and the Weasley twins are rare alchemy talents. Maybe he can achieve some unexpected results in transforming Muggle supplies.
At the same time, the ghost ship of Durmstrang also anchored and docked, and the huge sound of water attracted everyone’s attention again.
Grindelwald seemed to be competing with Cyrus, and he leaned back straight, like a big white bird landing lightly on the deck. The captain’s hat turned over in his hand for several times, and turned into rose petals.
“Come out, students.” He opened his arms and looked at Dumbledore from afar across the flames.
Despite the small episode of Cyrus in the middle, he and Dumbledore never looked away from each other from the beginning.
Then Vida Rosier walked out of the wooden plank with a group of wizards wearing thick felt clothes. They followed Grindelwald to the shore, and the shadow of each person was as wide as a brown bear!
Those wizards were all wearing thick fur cloaks and felt hats. They were holding sticks rather than wands. They looked like they came out of the North Pole.
Cyrus stood there calmly, waiting for Grindelwald and Ms. Rosier to come together.
This was the first time he saw Grindelwald’s true face. He looked older than in “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”, but he looked completely different from the old man killed by Voldemort in the movie.
Perhaps he had specially made up his appearance after leaving Nurmengard?
Cyrus didn’t know, but at least he could see from Grindelwald’s face how high-spirited he had been. Even now, there was arrogance in his eyes.
When he walked to Cyrus’ side, he turned his head and took his eyes away from Dumbledore for a while.
“The fire is good.”
After commenting softly, Grindelwald immediately continued to walk towards the castle like a proud peacock.
Cyrus didn’t care about his attitude at all, and led his students to keep pace with him.
In addition to Cyrus, only Mag noticed that the atmosphere at the moment was a little wrong. As Dumbledore’s old girlfriend, she still knew something about Dumbledore’s love and hatred. Now that Grindelwald appeared in front of Dumbledore himself, McGonagall was a little worried.
She looked at Dumbledore, but she didn’t see any sadness or anger, or even joy, on his face.
“Albus, aren’t you surprised to see me?”
Grindelwald asked in a strange tone, which even sounded a little naughty. It was as if he had just played a prank, but unfortunately he didn’t see the expression he wanted to see on Dumbledore’s face.
But it’s no wonder that Albus Dumbledore died long ago on that rainy day in Godric’s Hollow, but was not yet buried.
“What is your purpose?” Dumbledore couldn’t tell that he was crying and mourning for Grindelwald not long ago. His tone was cold, and the wand was held in his hand. When it was empty, it looked like it was burning gunpowder, as if it might explode at any time. There is a battle with Grindelwald.
“You swear you will never leave Nurmengard.”
He was like a white-haired lion, but still strong and angry, roaring like an engine with its teeth roaring.
But in reality, his voice was cold and calm.
“You lied, just like before.”
Grindelwald also suddenly became cold. His character was already a little perverse, but now it was like changeable clouds and rain. The expression on his face was like sharpened ice, threatening to frostbite anyone who touched him. Pierce them and bleed!
“That’s who I am, you should have known that fifty years ago.”
His words were much colder than the water at the bottom of the Black Lake, and they even seemed to be deliberately irritating Dumbledore so that Dumbledore would start a fight.
Cyrus saw Dumbledore’s hand holding the wand clenching and unclenching several times, but finally did not move.
“You have a really good relationship.” Cyrus interjected, “But if you have any personal matters, let’s wait until the game is over to resolve them.”
“I’m afraid that people from the International Confederation of Wizards can’t wait that long, and they will be willing to immediately arrest a prisoner who has been imprisoned for life.” Dumbledore said, his blue eyes like deep lakes reflecting Grindelwald. Aging, but still handsome face.
“And it just so happens that they are the referees in this game.”
“I think for your sake, they won’t take action at Hogwarts.” Grindelwald replied without any sign of weakness, and then, regardless of Dumbledore’s attitude, he directly took Dem Strong’s students entered the castle.
The students at Hogwarts subconsciously made way for him.
“Who is he?” Harry lowered his voice and turned to ask Ron.
Ron shook his head: “I don’t know.”
Nowadays, not many people still remember what Grindelwald looked like after disappearing from the magical world for almost fifty years.
“Albus Dumbledore defeated the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in 1945.” Cyrus’s voice rang in Harry and Ron’s ears, “That’s him.”
“Gellert Grindelwald?” Harry repeated the name.
But he didn’t know how much weight this name held. He wanted to continue asking, but Cyrus had already led the students past Harry, but Malfoy, when passing by Harry, made his unique greetings.
“Good evening, Scarhead.”
He didn’t have time to say more, but this sentence still made Harry furious.
“Disgusting Malfoy, you should save a bullet for him to shoot!” Ron said angrily.
Cyrus walked up to Dumbledore. Unlike when he faced Grindelwald just now, Dumbledore seemed much more enthusiastic now. He shook hands with Cyrus, and the two exchanged brief greetings.
Then Cyrus hugged the meticulous McGonagall again. After several contacts, Professor McGonagall and others had already changed their views on Cyrus, and no one regarded him as an enemy.
“The people from Beauxbatons haven’t arrived yet?”
“They are indeed the last.” Dumbledore nodded.
“It’s really rude. I don’t plan to wait for them here.” Cyrus frowned unhappily.
If Beauxbatons was really Ms. Maxim bringing ordinary students to the competition, then out of respect, Cyrus felt that it didn’t matter if she waited a little.
But in reality?
Those participating in the competition were Death Eaters led by Voldemort, and Voldemort himself was not here yet.
Whose identities have been smashed, but they are worthy of standing at the door to greet them?
“I’ll go in first and let the students sit at the Slytherin House table, okay?”
“Why ask me? After all, you are the heir of Slytherin.” Dumbledore made a small joke and then made way for Cyrus.
Then, Cyrus walked in with the envious eyes of the Hogwarts students.
The night at the end of October has begun to get cold, and the wind blowing from the black lake is very humid. It blows into the collar and makes people shiver.
With the arrival of Durmstrang and Ilvermorny, the enthusiasm of the little wizards has been almost exhausted. Now they just want to return to the warm auditorium quickly and take a sip of hot pumpkin juice.
But Bubaston seemed determined to be late, and they could only stand shivering in the cold wind.
In the castle, Cyrus was familiar with the road.
The little wizards following him looked curiously.
Said to be a young wizard, in fact, except for Malfoy, the others look almost the same age as him. Cyrus was actually only resurrected in June last year, and this body is only sixteen years old now.
“Professor, did you graduate from Hogwarts before?” Cassandra looked at the castle, always feeling that Hogwarts exuded a mysterious atmosphere.
As the oldest magic school, Hogwarts does have a deeper heritage than other schools!
“Of course.” Cyrus nodded, “I graduated from Slytherin College. If I were sorted according to the Ilvermorny system, I would have been sorted into the Horned Serpent.”
“No, I think it’s the Thunderbird.” Fisher shook his head immediately and said, “You can turn into a Thunderbird, not only to join the college, but also to be the college itself!”
“Why not all four colleges?” another female wizard retorted.
Cyrus didn’t care about the students’ boasting. He quickly walked to the hall, pushed open the door and found that Grindelwald and the students of Durmstrang had already sat down.
They sat at the Gryffindor College dining table, and Grindelwald sat directly on the chair next to the headmaster, with Vida sitting close to him.
“Please sit down.” Cyrus entertained them like a host, and then walked to the long table of faculty and staff with Bella.
As soon as they sat down, a sumptuous meal immediately appeared on the table.
But no one was so anxious to start eating, at most they just drank a sip of pumpkin juice to warm themselves up.
“This is the first time we meet, Mr. Cyrus?” Grindelwald took a sip of red wine, turned his head and started talking to Cyrus, “Do you know–” He stretched out the index finger of his other hand and tapped his eyes, “I am a prophet.”
Prophet?
An alien also likes to say that.
Cyrus complained in his heart, but on the surface he looked at Grindelwald with a smile, as if waiting for him to continue.
“There are countless prophecies in this world every day, but most of them are just tricks to fill the numbers and pretend to be profound, but I am different. My eye can see the future.”
“So, what did you see?”
Cyrus asked back.
In fact, he is still very interested in prophecy, which is a talent that neither he nor Voldemort has.
Before, he asked Harry to pay attention to see if he would hear some prophecies about himself, but perhaps the future was changed, and Neville’s prophecy professor did not get the same revelation as in the original book.
“A very blurry picture.” Grindelwald said.
He didn’t deliberately lower his voice, but no one seemed to hear it except Cyrus.
At this moment, the auditorium seemed to be divided into two worlds.
The little wizards laughed and talked, but their movements were as slow as turtles and snails. Their time seemed to be frozen. Only Cyrus and Grindelwald were free from time.
Grindelwald was very serious.
“I saw the clock, darkness, death… and the white curtain…”
