Hogwarts: Voldemort, don't stop me from studying - Chapter 334
c334 Vader: Let’s talk?
The classes they were supposed to attend were suddenly cancelled. Most students took advantage of this stolen time to rest or play in the maze. Wade and others came to the school doctor’s office.
In the distance, they heard someone shouting:
“I was almost killed! I want to tell my dad! Just wait, you stupid big guy, my dad will never let you go!”
Michael’s footsteps suddenly stopped.
“Malfoy? Is the injured person Malfoy?” He looked at Vader: “Then there’s no need for us to go see him, right?”
“This is not a good thing, Michael.” Theo frowned: “Professor Hagrid may be fired for this.”
Michael waved his hand: “It’s normal for accidents to happen during class. Who hasn’t been injured in Potions class? Oh… Vader probably hasn’t.”
As he spoke, he was ready to turn around and leave.
Then, they heard Malfoy in the ward still yelling: “And that damn beast! I must chop it down! It’s dead!”
Michael’s expression suddenly became a little ugly.
“Go and have a look,” Wade said.
They continued to move forward, and when they reached the door, they heard Harry say in a weak voice: “Shut up, Malfoy.”
His voice was not loud, but Malfoy actually became quiet for a moment. At this moment, Wade pushed open the ajar door of the ward.
There were actually two hospital beds with people lying on them.
There were several bloody cuts in Harry’s clothes behind his shoulders. There was blood all over his body, and his face was extremely pale.
Madam Pomfrey smeared a thick green ointment on his body, then took a glass of bubbling liquid that tasted terrible and asked Harry to drink it.
As for Draco Malfoy, there was blood on his arm, but not much. It had healed under the spell at this time, but he was still lying on the bed with his arms folded, complaining that his arm hurt.
Hagrid stayed in the corner. The stool under his butt was too confusing for him. Hagrid sat carefully on it, with his hands on his knees, looking almost like he was shrinking.
He looked at the ground dejectedly, showing no reaction to Malfoy’s insults, as if he had been struck into isolation.
The arrival of Wade and others interrupted the slightly weird atmosphere in the ward.
“Harry?” Theo asked in surprise, “Why are you injured?”
“Bad luck.” Harry muttered and asked, “Why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be in class at this time?”
“Yes, Care of Magical Creatures class.” Michael glanced at Hagrid in the corner and said, “But the professor is not here, and our class has been cancelled.”
“I’m sorry.” Hagrid said listlessly, “I’m sorry, I may not be able to teach you… There are no professors at Hogwarts who have only been working for one day.”
“It’s not your fault, Hagrid.”
Harry quickly comforted him: “You said that hippogriffs are proud creatures and should be respected. It was Malfoy who deliberately insulted them and angered them. It is Malfoy’s fault.”
“It’s his fault!” Malfoy shouted angrily, “He shouldn’t have brought that dangerous creature to class at all!”
“The basilisk is more dangerous, but we have faced it too!” Harry shouted back: “No wonder you didn’t participate last time, it turned out to be because you are a coward!”
Malfoy gasped with anger, and at the same time felt a little guilty. He quickly glanced at Vader and Madam Pomfrey.
The reason why he didn’t participate in challenging the Basilisk last semester was because before that, he and Crabbe had a little heart-wrenching conflict.
That matter was sealed under his father’s strong request. Harry and others did not know about it, but Madam Pomfrey, who participated in rescuing Crabbe, and Vader, who provided video evidence, knew everything. Madam Pomfrey acted as if she hadn’t heard anything, and just handed the cup in her hand forward:
“Drink it, child. There may be poison in the hippogriff’s claws, and the wound on your back is too deep to heal easily.”
Harry, who was originally filled with righteous indignation, had a bitter look on his face. He looked at the terrifying dark green potion in fear, and would rather challenge the Hippogriff face to face.
But under Madam Pomfrey’s serious eyes, Harry still took the cup, closed his eyes, and drank it in one gulp.
The suffocating smell of the potion spread like a hundred smelly socks, and even Malfoy looked sympathetic when he saw it.
Madam Pomfrey was somewhat satisfied, and then she gave Wade and the others a warning look and said:
“Don’t have conflicts in the ward. If you disturb my patients, I will kick you all out!”
“I understand, madam.” Several people agreed one after another.
Madam Pomfrey left, and Harry immediately covered his mouth to avoid spitting out the potion he had just drank.
Vader ignored Malfoy in the hospital bed next door and asked Harry: “Malfoy angered the Hippogriff and was attacked, and then what? How did you get injured?”
Hearing this, Harry stiffened with a painful expression, and then immediately coughed loudly.
Malfoy also averted his eyes, as if avoiding something.
Hagrid, who was next to him, spoke up: “Harry was injured trying to save Malfoy… It’s all my fault. If I could have caught Buckbeak at that time, nothing would have happened…”
“I shouldn’t have let them all go. If I had only untied the collar of one hippogriff, I could have controlled the situation in time…”
“Or if I had realized that something was wrong when Malfoy was talking nonsense, and rushed to them at the first time, this would not have happened…”
“Maybe I should have taught something safe in the first class, such as Flobberworms… Why do I think preparing a surprise will make students like me more? I messed everything up…”
“I’m really an idiot… I’m not suitable to be a professor at all…”
When Hagrid sat here, he had obviously reviewed this classroom accident over and over again. He counted his mistakes one by one, regretted it, and almost cried.
Malfoy snorted coldly and whispered: “You are self-aware! The class you prepared is terrible!”
“Don’t!” Michael was startled and said hurriedly: “The hippogriff is indeed a surprise, I like it! And I don’t want to see Flobberworms in class at all!”
“Really?” Hagrid looked at him with tears in his eyes.
“Of course.” Ryan also said: “I am looking forward to our next Care of Magical Creatures class. I hope you will not be absent again.”
“And the Hippogriff!” Michael added.
“But this creature is indeed dangerous.” Padma coughed dryly and said tactfully: “For everyone’s safety, can we take some measures? I have a little suggestion on this…”
Several people surrounded Hagrid and helped the professor who had lost confidence to redesign a safer and more interesting course.
Wade walked to the front of Malfoy’s bed and smiled kindly.
“What do you want to do?”
Malfoy sat up alertly and even subconsciously grabbed his wand.
Wade grabbed the front end of his wand and pressed it down, leaned over slightly, and said with a smile: “Malfoy, let’s talk?”
