The Infinite Journey of the Sage - Chapter 778
c-1 Final words
I started writing this book in February 2017. It was written in April 2019, almost two years and two months ago.
It was really difficult at that time. I had just arrived in Japan for about half a year, and it was at a crossroads in my life. I was in an awkward position of whether to work part-time or continue writing a book.
It was really embarrassing at that time because the editor of a book written by a certain guest changed and I was asked to finish the book. I stopped writing it in anger and had no explanation.
When I lost my income, my family only gave me 5,000 yuan for living expenses every month. Half of it was used to pay the rent for the school dormitory, and the other half was far from enough for me to eat and drink.
If the new book fails again and I only have an income of two to three thousand a month, I will basically be struggling on the poverty line in Japan – I still have to take care of my family for money.
Japanese international students work 28 hours a week. Based on 4 hours a day, my hourly salary in Tokyo is 1,000 yuan, which can easily reach about 110,000 yen a month, which is equivalent to RMB 6,600.
One side is uncertain, and the other side is 6600, which guarantees harvests due to droughts and floods. Which one should I choose?
In the end, everyone saw my choice. If I had chosen to keep the harvest despite droughts and floods, how could I have written a novel?
This book is a success. It confirmed my ability and brought me a monthly income of 12,000 yuan. This book is a failure. Every time it changes, it will take away a large number of readers. However, I like this book. Readers of one volume may be deterred from rushing in by the first volume.
In short, it is still an act of learning from mistakes and gaining wisdom in the long career of an author.
The next book is still being brewed. It will probably be released after the May 1st holiday. I will work hard to pick up the status and save a lot of manuscripts. I hope that everyone can still support me in the next book and still allow me to continue on the path of being an author. Keep walking, walk more steadily, walk better, and make money to support your family.
Anyway, thank you all.
